Conclusion

This chapter has endeavored to engage in conversation on Pentecostal theology of religions with Veli-Matti Kärkkäinen and Amos Yong. They are Pentecostals widely recognized for their contribution to the field. In particular it has suggested that the next best move for Pentecostal theology of religions, in advancing from the general and abstract to the concrete and specific, may be addressing current shared concerns involving interreligious components, such as the crisis in the Middle East and Christian–Muslim relations worldwide. It has also suggested that a robust and responsible theology of Christian witness in a pluralistic society and Pentecostal theology of religions can be mutually enabling and empowering. The next chapter takes the conversation to a non-Pentecostal partner of note.
